*This lockscreen widget logs every notification you get. It's highly flexible and could be used for a number of different things I have it set as my second lockscreen widget and have a scrollable running ticker of my notifications.
*The de facto time/notification widget. Has an API and tons of third-party support. Similar to NiLS, but different enough to warrant having both. (i.e. NiLS on the lock screen and DashClock on the home screen.)
*An app by Qualcomm that monitors your usage patterns for two days and then saves you battery from then on. You don't have to do anything! (Only works on phones with Qualcomm chips - if you can install it you're good to go.)
