mattcraiganon: Records every keystroke you make on your device and stores it, in case of an app or phone crash. No permissions so you dont need to worry about it posting your data to somewhere you don't want it. You can also exclude certain apps if you don't want them monitored, or set it to wipe after a certain time frame. I even used it writing this recommendation as Reddit Sync Dev crashed on me!

Avoid the frustration when you have to start typing out that extremely long piece of text from scratch, again, because your phone crashed. Type Machine keeps a record of everything you type. Simply open the app and copy the text you just lost. You can sort through saved text via app and use settings to determine how often the app should delete the collected text, if ever.

This app automatically records everything you type in all apps except passwords in separate sections, so you won't lose your data if the app crashes or you accidentally delete it. But this app doesn't have internet access, so you don't have to worry about privacy.
Please read the description before purchasing to ensure compatibility. Have you ever typed something and then accidentally erased it? Written down something important and couldn't find it again? App crashed and lost everything you wrote? With your own Type Machine, that's no problem.

Type Machine will function with almost every app that is built using the native Android frameworks. Password fields are not (and can not be) logged by Type Machine. For a list of known issues with specific applications, please see http://goo.gl/xGy1es.
Samsung users: activating Type Machine on some Samsung devices may enable text-to-speech functionality in the home screen and some other built-in apps. This is a bug with Samsung's operating system and is out of our control. More details are available at http://goo.gl/PnjOlK.
