(In this comparison I'm putting the well known To Do list apps against each other. I ask that you realise this channel is about giving my feedback on an app good, bad or my indifference. Be sure to look at each review's main features section for unique and similar features.) Main features: Create task/list Sync between all devices Set reminders Organise by priority/levels (sub task) Share projects, assign tasks, and add comments all within the app. some these option is at a premium Gamification feature Todoist Karma Integration for some of your favorite apps eg Google Drive, Cloud Magic, Sunrise Calendar, Premium: push notification, email or SMS reminders by location/date or time labels and filters to increase organisation Upload files, sound recordings and photos to your tasks from your computer, Dropbox, or Google Drive. Add tasks by forwarding an email and access your to-do lists on your iCalendar. Set reminders on your Android Wear smartwatch using voice commands. (Re-posted: Why this app isn't for me and maybe you too. I do like to list task or goals I need to accomplish for the year. But those are reminders to keep me on track. But what about the day to day task that you must not forget? I'll make a mental note or I'll send an email to myself to check at the start of the next day. In addition to that I have 2 apps that perform these functions fairly well already (Evernote and Inbox by Gmail review coming soon) and I just can't see the need to invest heavily in this or other To Do apps.)

Todoist is an awful name for an app and people can justifiably write it off for that reason alone. But they would be missing out on the best Task Manager anywhere. It feels simple and inviting to use yet powerful at the same time, a difficult feat to accomplish that reflects the thought put into its design. It features a workflow that is completely natural with how we plan our days. The natural language assignment of due dates (today, tomorrow, the 12th) and the ease of bumping tasks to future dates closes the gap from thought to data manipulation. Great use of persistent notification to add tasks anywhere, fantastic widget, excellent app.

This is one of the BIGGER NAME to-do list apps out there, and I always avoided it because I didn't like the interface. Well. I download it, and I have to say THE INTERFACE IS DOING A LOT FOR ME! The lack of customisation isn't a problem - the app is smooth and works well, and I like that it shows you your tasks everyday of the week so you can plan.
gooddough - Try Todoist. You can create collaborative projects and assign tasks to people if they have the app as well. It is cross platform. It also has recurring tasks, and pretty easy rescheduling. From what you've described, you can set up a project - "Chores". Then you can create A's tasks (dishes, dusting) which are set to specific days/dates and assign them to him. Then you do the same for each soldier. Alternatively you can make each soldier a project and assign recurring tasks to him there.
