Discover a new and pleasant way to enjoy music on your Android phones and tablets wherever an Internet connection is available. DS audio allows you to browse your DiskStation’s music library while playing it in the background, as well as displaying the lyrics of the song being played. Better yet, you can download songs to your Android device’s local memory to listen to them even when no network is available. You can also control music playback on connected speakers in a simple and convenient way. With DS audio on Android Phones and Tablets, you can do the following:
-Play music stored on your DiskStation on-the-go
-Browse songs by albums, artists, composers, folders, genres or playlist
-Create and edit your own playlists (DSM 4.3 beta and Audio Station 5.1 required)
-Download to local memory for Offline listening
-Listen to your favourite Internet radio
-Use DS audio as a remote to stream music from your DiskStation to any attached speakers (Airplay-enabled / Chromecast / DLNA / UPnP media renderers)
-Connect with your QuickConnect ID (requires DSM 4.2)
-Support of HTTPS connection for Android 3.1 and onwards
-Support for encrypted login over HTTP without SSL
